It was fairly bland because of the recent ‘scandal’ not because 35 isn’t significant. As we know from past experience, This Morning do special shows with custom built sets to mark things like Gino D’Campo’s first anniversary of passing wind.

I refer you to the 3rd of October 2013.

25 is a more-celebrated anniversary than a 35th- I don’t make the rules!

Everyone remembers the Queen’s silver jubilee, but not her coral one (was it even marked?).

The Dr Chris retrospective was a pre-recorded interview at his home with Dr Zoe with him sadly looking quite frail now.

Apparently Holly's off work because someone tried to kidnap her? It's on the front page of today's Sun.

Someone has been charged now and will appear in court later. Not a topic for discussion here I imagine.

Talking of topics not up for discussion that was a very poor interview with the PM by Alison and Dermot. Even GB News would be embarrassed by that.

Hopefully the fact the villain got caught so quick means Holly won't be off work for long. She has a right to feel safe.

You should probably adjust your expectations. It's a soft, relaxed, daytime show. Nobody gets a hard time and they are not political interviewers they weren't suddenly going to turn Paxman.  They challenged on some aspects but it was typically a This Morning interview.  I didn't expect anything else.

Isn’t it a bit embarrassing that he’s done This Morning twice in 3 months (he was on with Craig & Josie in the summer) but not GMB or Peston?

Would a booking like this just go directly to This Morning? Or would wider ITV have a say on where it’s placed?

Susanna interviewed him on GMB earlier in the week.
