Just seen another new short trailer over on BBC Two, featuring four of the gladiators (is that capatalised?). Only short, around 10 seconds, again.

Just seen a longer trailer approx 20-30 seconds immediately before the King's Speech. Looked fantastic to be honest, very true to the original but with more pizazz & energy. Even featured John Anderson's voice "Are you ready" catchphrase at the end. I wonder if he features in any way or whether his vocal is used before the start of games??

Having been in there a lot, it's not as tall as the NIA, so basically having the ceiling as a black void and firing light at everything else helps a lot with scale.

One presumes games like Pendulum are unlikely to return because of the lack of space, but it does look to have the original feel.

Those you've listed plus Hang Tough and Gauntlet from the original series (looking at the trailer Gauntlet appears to be 4 Gladiators compared to 5 in the ITV series) plus 3 new games - The Edge (not sure what this entails), The Ring (looks a bit like Pyramid but flattened i.e. Contenders trying to get to a button in the middle of the floor with a Gladiator trying to stop them), and Collision (think Hit and Run but with the Gladiators themselves as the projectiles rather than demolition balls).

The Eliminator itself looks like the classic version rather than a reimagined version.

It's a race between a contender and gladiator played up in the roof of the venue, with a very real risk of falling off.

It's pretty much identical to the original., just with more LEDs.
