Fundamentally, I view that as totally unfair on the British viewer as well as being presentationally very sloppy.
Except World viewers pay by sitting thorough ad breaks. Ad breaks that actually pay for a lot of other things in the organisation.

An awkward aftermath: Ratings slipped to less than outlets watched by people they want to attract. Ouch.

CNN has really gone down the toilet - they decided to withdraw their channel from free to air platforms here in the UK, I used to enjoy watching them on Freesat but now you have to have Sky to receive it - pathetic attitude.

CNN is a sinking ship which pretends it is still floating, even when the water is lapping the bridge, with Captain Anderson Cooper telling viewers to remain calm and watch them, even he is clinging on to the wheel with water up to his waste.

If I was in the US, I would be watching more MSNBC than CNN (yes, I think you can guess my political leaning) but MSNBC just seems to be better than CNN now for the base of viewers it wants to attract.

Is there a way to see data from the Friday before for comparison? I wouldn't be surprised if this was direct fallout, but I'm curious to see how much Newsmax is benefitting from the Tucker Carlson boost. Personally, I haven't felt the desire to watch CNN since the Town Hall, even though a few pages back I didn't feel like this was as much a mistake as I do now.

They're still the third on 5/5, but still more than the following week on average (403,000 in total) and Chris Wallace (320,000). Newsmax's offering at 10pm was surprisingly neck to neck with CNN's in numbers (300,000):

Serves them right. Bewildering decision

Watching eagerly to see if her show stays in New York or moves to DC…

As for a replacement: Phil Mattingley and Audie Cornish seem like front runners to me. Anyone else have any other guesses?
