Might just be me but that triple tab seems a little excessive.

Is there an editorial reason for Richard Quest doing his show from the French riviera?

He did a piece on tourism in the area but I'm not convinced it was news.

Maybe he’s filming an episode of “Quests World of Wonder” there?

Business Traveller. World of Wonder. Quest Means Business...
It's too much! Quest doesn't mean business at all!

I can't actually remember the last time he did a full week of QMB.

He is, as was mentioned on Tuesday's QMB. He didn't host but was included to comment on North Korea following a clip from a previous show where he visited the DMZ.

Having not watched CNN for a while, I’m quite happy that the politics has a backseat and there is much more actual news coverage in Erin Burnett Out Front’s show.

Live’s to Ukraine and talking about the issues is a big step forward.

Variety reporting on the potential roster changes at CNN.

My Opinion: Mattingly in the morning and Coates/Berman in the evening would be a great schedule. Since 9pm is “The Source with Kaitlan Collins” I’d name 10pm “The Radar with Laura Coates” and 11pm “The Recap with John Berman”.

Indeed, John Berman recently showed up in the 11pm slot, missing from his permanent slot on News Central. That is actually what is strange in this possible setting: if Berman is in 11pm rota, they will need either to demote News Central to two presenters or find someone to replace him. In any case, it will seem like a demotion for him in terms of on-air time: from one hour (3 hours for 3 anchors) to half-an-hour (1 hours with two anchors rotating) on average.

Meanwhile, QMB has it first airing from the new Abu Dhabi studio.

A flagship primetime show is definitely a promotion over a rolling dayside program. I also don’t think 10 and 11 with be rotating, they’ll only have one anchor each full time. The bigger question is what happens to Alisyn Camerota if John Berman (her former co-anchor!) earns the spot.

QMB looks great in Abu Dhabi. Can’t help but laugh at the fact that the main anchor doesn’t get to use a studio but the substitute does!

RE: CNN - ginnyfan - 20-07-2023

My God, the constant rota changes. Berman has done every possible slot by now. Just keep him where he is. News Central is one of the few good changes.

No one seems to be talking about Collins' abysmal ratings. From what I've seen, she had barely 500.000 viewers, less than Cooper and Errin who is their top prime time star in reality.
