Not too sure why they insisted on placing it on a weekday to be honest. It would probably work better on weekend primetime.

RE: CNN - EastCoast - 02-12-2023

At the bottom of the 4am and 5am hours Kim Brunhuber tossed to a filler program for CNN International audiences while continuing to bring live news to CNN Domestic. There also seems to be a resurgence of the 15 minutes shows during the week.

10pm Eastern isn't a bad slot for it, Fox News Channel is airing a comedy show and taped, and MSNBC's show that night was focused on Trump stuff (not unusual) I think if there was any new developments, CNN would have bumped it and had two hours of Collins or two hours of Coates.

I assume Lynda presented Isa Soares Tonight from Techwood, with this new Atlanta view.

Where was Quest presenting from tonight? It didn't seem like the usual NY backdrop? Also, since when did his show go down to 45 mins all week? I thought it was only shortened a day or two a week?

It was Dubai, as there is COP28 underway.

May be they have now to place somewhere all the sponsored magazine shows that they did not air due to Israel-Hamas war rolling coverage...

However, quite often in the last 15 minutes of QMB there is some sponsored segment (like Call to Earth), even if it is not specifically labelled as such in the schedules...

She might well have been at Techwood but that Atlanta view is not from Techwood… and is not new.

That’s from a camera at CNN Center, specifically mounted on the tall Omni Hotel tower (connected to the original building).

You can see part of Centennial Olympic Park which is the giveaway.  You probably have seen shots from this camera before, but probably at night and perhaps turned in a slightly different direction.  It would look different during the day.

I wonder if CNN will lose access to that camera once CNN Center goes away for good.  No idea.

State of the Race has moved to Studio B, using the State of the Union/News Central desk, if someone is able to capture it.

RE: CNN - what - 07-12-2023

I have to say, having not watched the show regularly in some time and coming back to it tonight, it's shocking how little business news remains on Quest Means Business. I get they're focused on international tensions generally at CNN right now, but from what I saw it dominated the show.
