Interesting to see CNN Graphics and CNN Talent being used. Will be interesting to see who else hosts and how this affects the World Sport/Bleacher Report rota and on-air brand.

Wow that is interesting. Hadn’t heard that.

TruTV, of course, used to have a live block of programming of court coverage produced at CNN Center called In Session.

I think the In Session studio eventually became the one that weather used at CNN Center.

TruTV originally was Court TV.

We used to have CNN Today and then CNN Tonight two hours apart!

Glad that they added it on CNN Max, like Connect the World, it was on the CNN I feed on CNN Go, but putting it on Max makes it worthwhile too.

Odd seeing CNN Graphics and CNN Talent on a different network. Will be interesting to see who else hosts and if this affects the World Sport/Bleacher Report rota and on-air brand.

RE: CNN - inletwindow - 12-03-2024

Probably the World Sport team. Do CNN U.S. shows even use that copyright notice?? I don’t recall ever seeing it there. But CNNI shows close out every show with it.

I wonder if they meant to leave that in… or just did so out of habit. Because it’s not being branded as CNN.

It’s being branded as TNT…. But airing on truTV. Maybe they’ll change the copyright notice.

CNN US doesn't close their live newscasts with the copyright graphic, only CNN International.

By the way, I think CNN US stopped using the Bleacher Report logo for their sports updates on CTM. Would they be replaced with the TNT Sports logo?

RE: CNN - mouseboy33 - 12-03-2024

TNT Sports is now the overarching sports brand for WBD. They are building out TruTv as its defacto sports channel. I would imgine they probably will eventually change the name of the channel to TNT Sports.

RE: CNN - oscillon - 12-03-2024

Well, thanks to CNNI and Max merger, CNNI now airs wall-to-wall Special counsel hearing regarding Biden docs probe - not as a CNN/US simulcast, but with its own lower 3rds and ticker. No other topics are covered whatsoever, it is just live broadcast from the hearing, with little to none input from the anchors (they will likely step in when there is a pause in the hearing).

On a separate note, Isha Sesay made a contribution earlier today as she was interviewed by Rosemary Church, labelled, among other titles, as "Former CNN anchor"

Nice to Isha back, a happy mother now.

Also, Isa Soares interviewed Hala about her book ''But You Don't Look Arab: And Other Tales of Unbelonging'' this week, it will air on Thursday. Hala's been promoting her book around the world, including appearances on MSNBC's Morning Joe where she was interviewed by Katty Kay.
