Am I reading it wrong or did the one on the right seem to be saying nice things through gritted teeth?!??

Reporting suggests that Kaitlyn was the target of a lot of Don's on set antics, to the point it felt like she was actively avoiding the set. She was also Washington based for most of her career at the network and it's unlikely she had any relationship with Lemon before the morning show.

It's also funny that apparently the final straw wasn't that he had a heated 11pm debate with Vivek Ramaswamy at 8am, it's that he completely railroaded Poppy Harlow while doing it. It's the exact same behavior that got Bryant Gumbel "retired" from Today.

RE: CNN - Newsroom - 28-04-2023

As someone on this thread previously predicted - Audie Cornish is at the desk on CNN This Morning alongside Poppy and Kaitlin.

If this is permanent I’m buying a lottery ticket!

I’m not too sure I like Kaitlan in the center. Feels like Poppy should be in the middle with Kaitlan and Audie flanking her, especially if Kaitlan is still the “on the road” anchor.

Has to be a trade off. Poppy’s name comes before Kaitlin’s. Poppy has also opened the show since Lemon left.

RE: CNN - Kojak - 29-04-2023

I finally managed to watch some of the new News Central (afternoon edition) yesterday - and I must say, I was really impressed. I didn't get to watch a lot of it - probably only about 10 minutes - but what I did see was really dynamic and fresh. I'd love to see Sky News (re-)introduce a similar style in time.

For some reason they brought John Berman to Studio D in DC for in-studio coverage of White House Correspondents' Dinner alongside Jessica Dean and the panel.

It appears most DC people are at the dinner itself so they had to bring somebody from the outside to do the studio work.

RE: CNN - TMD_24 - 30-04-2023

Think John Berman presented this year as well alongside Brianna Keilar. Same studio as last time with a bit more paint and glamour to it!

The LA Times got themselves into a "George Clooney and his wife" scenario a couple of days ago, and was only changed after Dana Bash tweeted about it.

Speaking of which, is she still co-anchoring State of the Union after taking over Inside Politics Weekdays?

I love Dana's response! Super classy and totally correct. What dire journalism for the LATIMES to have run with that! It's more akin to UK tabloid sexist trash.
