So now there's Sky Mix and Sky Max? Sounds well thought through...

Fits in quite nicely with the Sky Sports Mix channel though...

Sky Cinema Mix with advertising supported films next...?

Did we not have a Sky Mix before, or did I imagine it?

Can we have Sky One back now?

There was a Sky One Mix at one point

What is old is new again then. Sky Arts was a welcome addition to Freeview but after a few months you realise it's largely the same content on a loop with just the odd new addition through the year, so whilst it's good it's staying for that new content it shoudn't be hurt as much as Pick was by moving down the EPG.

We did, I think there was some early concept work for what became the original Pick TV identity which had the name 'Mix TV' (using the stylised X that Sky were partial to at this time) too.

Interestingly this will leave Challenge back as being (I think) the only non-Sky branded Sky channel, as it was in February 2011.

Sounds like Sky Showcase Lite...

Pretty strange to think Sky were once adamant about keeping their brand off Freeview outside of Sky News. I'm pretty glad to see the Pick name disappear, though. I always thought it was a real anomaly when it took over Sky 3, not to mention a terribly bland name. At least Sky Mix is a bit more descriptive (more so than Sky Max).

Surely "Sky Min" would have been a more appropriate name  Big Grin
