ITV have just revealed that the Tonight programme is to get a new look this week for the first time in 14 years.

Because if they did, the BBC would be criticised by the press for spending loads of money on an external agency, yet if they do it in house, they would be criticised for wasting money on something cheap looking.

Are the dates here wrong? The Instagram post says it's been 14 years, but if Logopedia is right, it's only been ten.

I thought it had changed then too as the previous look was strongly aligned to the yellow of ITV News at the time.
