It's a TV format - it needs a hook.   I'm sure this will be less embarrassing than Sun, Sex and Suspicious Parents.

It's dating shows in general, but especially reality dating shows, tend to struggle more than they succeed - Love Island is the exception rather than the rule.

Only because it's "attractive" people regularly seen in their underwear taking part.

A format hook doesn't have to be unnecessarily exploitative/morally questionable.

Well don't bang your head on the clouds up there on the moral high ground.   There have been far far far worse formats when it comes to questionable morals.

I don't think the format is particularly questionable but it just screams ITVBe to me rather than across 2 weeks on the main channel.

Didn't say or imply there wasn't. Have I to investigate each and every one of them in order to escape your snide? Away ye go, pany.

The next series of The Jonathan Ross Show has been delayed from Autumn, most likely due to the Rugby World Cup.

RE: ITV Autumn 2022 Programming - eyeTV - 17-08-2023

The rugby is having to do a lot of heavy lifting this Autumn for ITV. Won't the games be over by 10pm?

RE: ITV Autumn 2022 Programming - Ash101 - 17-08-2023

I presume the article's mean it was never commissioned for this Autumn, rather than being cancelled/moved now?

It makes sense I guess with them having less Saturday night's running entertainment shows.. but they could've tried it elsewhere?

Mostly yes, only the knockout rounds could run later if they go into extra time.

Seems an odd reason not to do a series of Jonathan Ross. Especially as in the past few years his show has mostly aired in November & December when the rugby isn’t on.

Unless with The Voice and I’m a Celeb on it would mean pushing it too late?

Obviously, but “JONATHAN ROSS SHOW PULLED FROM SCHEDULE IN MAJOR SHAKE UP” generates more clicks
