Can’t see it being anyone other than Kuenssberg.
More interested in who anchors for Sky to be honest, that’s as much an unknown given their presenter from the last election has since left. Sophy Ridge is the obvious choice (and would be great) but I suspect they’ll go for someone like Mark Austin or Jonathan Samuels and keep the politics specialists for interviews and analysis.

I’d like it to be Fiona Bruce hosting. David Dimbleby always hosted the election coverage when he was Question Time host so why can’t it be Fiona. I think Laura Kuenssberg should do the political interviews through the night at a separate table.

I too would be very surprised if it was anyone other than Laura as the BBC’s chief politics presenter, although it’s interesting to see The Times suggest more of a ‘team’ approach is being considered. Has the BBC’s election coverage ever been double headed?
I could potentially see Victoria Derbyshire in the interview role, with Reeta on the touchscreen and Sophie with the map outside NBH as per the last election.
Another interesting factor is whether we are looking at the US Election the week before - would it be logistically possible for the BBC to use Studio B for both?
As the US coverage is split between London and Washington they don’t technically need a huge studio presence in NBH, so I guess they could use E assuming it’s spruce up is finished by then.
I wonder if say Clive could present the US Election from London, then everyone has some kind of role over the course of the month?

Is a pay walled article from The Times yesterday but just speculation I think. Was an article a few weeks ago saying they had been testing with Fiona, Laura and another (Clive or Sophie I think).

There's yet another article in today's Sunday Times speculating about it - they tend to write one about Huw Edwards and BBC News every other week these days which tells readers little of what we already know other than nameless people speculating.

I would be very surprised if the US Election coverage isn't headed up by Katty and Christian in DC, with someone else on touchscreen/graphics duty in London, particularly if the counting drags on for 4+ days like it did last time

Sort of... I'm sure in 2010 during results night, BBC Breakfast came from the Election Studio in TC1 while results were still coming in. If my mind serves me correctly it was presented by Jon Sopel and Louise Minchin.
Edit: My memory was nearly spot on. It was Jon and Sian Williams.
