Hmm, that's a total of 42 filming days. 15 in the first period, 20 in the second, and 7 in the last. Surely the episode count is a multiple of 5... 84, 126, 168, 210... Five episodes recorded a day, for a total run of 42 weeks - in short, all year round?

Think they recorded 3 per day last time. 40 filming days would therefore give them 120 episodes.
Looks like there are 42 filming days in total so the 2 extra days could be for the 4 celebrity specials they’ve confirmed (2 filmed per day).

That's still 24 weeks worth - we're going to be seeing a lot less of Tipping Point!

Probably air over 18 months or so, perhaps even longer. ITV like to pile up the episodes when it comes to daytime shows - Lingo still has a series and a half to air and Tipping Point episodes filmed in the Spring usually don't begin airing till the following spring.
That said undoubtedly means less Tipping Point, especially with Ben starting on This Morning, though with the breaks in airing and probably all of last years filmed episodes still to air they'd probably have enough new episodes for this year and next year combined with repeat runs and Deal or No Deal. Just be half as many new episodes as previously I imagine.
Presumably still no word on Jeopardy?

Tipping Point was around 165 episodes a year although they've cut that down to 100 for the last two series. If it continuing then I would guess maybe 80-100 episodes.

The question I guess is whether ITV will try to repeat Deal or No Deal in the 4pm slot on ITV1. It's had a rerun on ITV2, which it feels like they can get away with - but just not so sure it works being repeated on the main channel in the same slot given the continual nature of the show.

Since they have Jeopardy! and Tipping Point to rotate with it, repeats should be completely unnecessary in that timeslot. Though I assume the combined annual runs of Lingo, Riddiculous, and Tenable is less than the 4pm shows, considering Lingo and Tenable are both often repeated.

Agree it wouldn’t work being repeated on ITV1 which will work against it as part of the economy of the daytime gameshows is how repeatable they are.
The ITV2 repeat run did pretty well though, over 300k some nights in a slot where they often hover around 100k. So that could well become a more permanent slot for repeats.
If they really wanted to be bold they could hand Tipping Point the 3pm slot (where it would do far better than any of the other gameshows they have there), Deal or No Deal 4pm and The Chase 5pm and have all three running most of the year, with Tenable, Riddiculous, Jeopardy and Lingo subbing in where required to give each a bit of a breather.
It seems a shame to cut so far back on Tipping Point when it still rates so well (not that much lower than DOND and far better than Jeopardy).
