Rest iiiiin peace.

(Hopefully, he would've laughed at that.)

Well put.

End of an era really - the last of the old guard of commentators to depart following Messrs Waddell, Lanning and Gwynne.

Though unlike his counterparts, he always remained so closely - and stoically - linked with the BDO, even as it gradually declined and fell into the shadow of the PDC (didn’t we mention he was fairly close to Olly Croft?)

I imagine Challenge will probably have a tribute link or two ready for tonight’s 11pm episodes of Bullseye? (too late for the 5pm episodes?)

Nope. Same generic announcement as always.

I suspect because Mr Green was effectively the second on for the bulk of the show, only really coming front and centre after 1993, and even then it was only at the start of the show.

I wouldn't be surprised if Bully got more screen time than Tony to be honest, particularly in the early years.

I can understand why getting a custom voice over sorted in the time available might be difficult, but did they manage to knock up an "in memory of" slide for the end?

A repeat tonight of WWTBAM from 2022 which featured the winners of the short lived spin off Fastest Finger First. Introduced as a brand new series, as indeed I think the new episodes this year was but this repeat episode is Series 34 Episode 11 and the new run on Sunday still Series 34, episode 27 - though airing perhaps a year later than originally planned.

I can understand two short runs might be considered one series, especially if filmed together, bit a bit odd for multiple series over multiple years to be considered as one.

Jeremy also remarked how good it was that there was an audience back in the studio, which also highlighted how it was a repeat

Couldn't resist, even if Osman *is* right and those contestants *did* receive their winnings after all. Wink

The 1% Club recomissioned for two more series by ITV. Not a surprise and deserved IMO in terms of content and ratings.

Nobody's in a hurry to commission his other game show 3 by 3 after the unfortunate incident on the pilot episode Wink
