Wheel of Fortune had a pilot with Alison Hammond then things went quiet and now it's back on. Similarly, she also did Friends Like These and that was supposedly taken no further. Maybe that will work with another presenter?

I'd say with Hammond doing this format and that format is that there needs to be a new or revised - based loosely upon one existing - format for a good fit.

As for what the next revival is. I guess it is anybody's guess.

There's been a few quiz shows that haven't lasted more than 1 or 2 series which I've really enjoyed and disappointed they didn't continue, so maybe it's time they were looked at for revivals?

Headjam (pop culture quiz with Vernon Kay)
Relatively Clever (bit like Ask the Family with Mel Giedroyc)
School's Out (Danny Wallace quiz on school subjects)
Bank Balance

I'd also love to see a Telly Addicts revival, but after the poor effort with TV Showdown recently, that's probably on the backburner for now. Show Me The Telly was a better effort at a TV quiz in recent years.

Maybe it will be.

Interesting to see it get a nationwide run this time.

Talking about a schools quiz show, what about rebooting Are You Smarter Than A 10 Year Old? Ran on Sky from 2007 to 2010, so after 13 years off air, surely it could be revived.

I always thought it was a nice bit of fun, even though some of the kids were annoying.

Popmaster - Ep.1 - 700k (500% up for the slot), Ep.2 - 458k, Ep.3 - 335k

I didn't mean to tag an actual gameshow.

Plus, looking it up. It would seem like ultimate scraping the bottom of the barrel idea.

Somebody liked Bank Balance?

Don't remember the middle two but Headjam wasn't too bad from what I remember (think it's quite some time ago now) and the sort of thing which could pair well with House of Games.

Duel is a one series wonder I think deserved another chance, especially as at the time it was doing pretty much as well as Millionaire did on Saturday nights.

What was that game show in a taxi called? That one was fun- I haven’t seen the bloke who hosted it for years though.

EDIT- Cash Cab! I remember now. I remember there was also an American version (might have been shown on ITV2) that was a bit flashier and a bit more razzmatazz.

To More 4's credit, at least they haven't done what E4 did to Batwoman when ratings weren't good and relegated Ken Bruce to midnight for the rest of the run or pulled it midway a la Challenge Anneka.

I think the slot average is about 200k so still up on that. Just too big an ask perhaps to have people watch an hour every night - in this extended format feels more like a weekly thing.
