I've seen this mentioned a few times, and yet apart from Kay, they're all clearly sat down. You can even see Wilfred's chair.

I don’t know if its just me, but in the last few weeks, i’ve noticed a lot of down-the-line interviews from Sky seem to have an obvious echo of the person being interviewed in the background, as if no echo cancellation is in use. Its quite noticeable on this interview of Sean Spicer: it feels like the speakers have been turned up a bit in the studio and that sound is being echo’d back slightly over Samuels’ microphone. doesn’t happen all the time, but certainly distracting when it does

New set works really well for Politics Hub (possibly better than Breakfast).

They've worked magic turning a pokey little office space into such a varied and dynamic backdrop. Lots of different camera shots as well, has made the programme feel much more lively.

Looks very nice in the evening with the presenter on the left side. Great job, team Sky!

Hopefully the morning team take notes. That presenter shot looks much better than Kay’s.

Let‘s be straight, this is by far the best looking set sky have had since SKY NEWS CENTRE. Glad they now found a good balance between office space, screens and presentation points. Also the size of the westminster studio is completely acceptable and I could see this used as the main studio.

I disagree - from the earlier screenshot the background behind Kay looked much better.

I bet Gareth Barlow is glad not to be having to control his own autocue.

^^^ Yalda must be thrilled too. Plus, they can look at more than one camera!!! The luxury of Sky. Cool

Sky are leaping ahead, whilst the bbc aren’t improving anything it’s a no contest at the moment, Sky News is improving getting the right people, trying to improve their presentation, the bbc news channel is stuffed really budget wise to make any improvements.
