I think that's a pretty safe bet.

Glad Comcast gave them a bigger budget then. Thats good. The updates and upgrades are totally paying off. Well done to Sky!

Sky News budget is a fixed amount under a legal undertaking based on budget prior to Comcast plus RPI until 2028. The channel operates as an independently reported and audited financial unit within Sky.

On the Set, it's pretty much worldwide trend of 3 wall LED with minimalist furnishings; notable exception of Globo Brazil that has a very good looking semi transparent curve.

Looks great. Simple, but much more refined than the last version.

Surely the feature of the set will be unobstructed views out to the renovated newsroom.

Is anyone actually watching these new programmes though? I understand the “revamped” Breakfast is still getting minuscule viewing figures too.

I’m watching The Politics Hub, not so much the UK Tonight or the World with Yalda Hakim.

Are you referencing to,

Breakfast not with Kay Burley but with Gareth Barlow,
Politics Hub not with Sophy Ridge but with Trevor Phillips
The UK Tonight not with Sarah Jane Mee but with Greg Milam
The World not with Yalda Hakim but with Adam Parsons.
News at Ten not with Anna Botting but with Gillian Joseph
???

Well you have to take into consideration the time of the year when the main presenter on a particular slot/programme will be on leave (this goes for all broadcast networks).

RE: Sky News - RhysJR - 04-04-2024

Apparently Sky News was off air for six minutes earlier.

Trevor Phillips is in the updated Westminster set this morning. Very crisp screen showing the same view as previously. Not sure it looks quite right though - there’s no branding other than to the edge of the screen, so most shots look like they’re suspended up above the bank of the Thames.
