If only there was some form of high-speed transit system connecting Manchester and London..

She made it! She's presenting from the studio.

I wonder whether the Politics Hub branding might inspire the Sky election branding? The hexagon has kind of become synonymous with elections when it comes to broadcast news pres in recent years.

Looks like Niall’s new Friday night show will be coming from Millbank

I’m glad to see Nialls show looks like it’s going to have its own identity. I think a Friday night is a great opportunity to have a more informal, casual approach to the news. At least this is what I’m picking up from the backdrop and Niall’s open-collar approach.

I was lowkey expecting it to be rolling Sky News all evening, so any deviation is welcome from me.

With the new shows not featuring a ToTH and the Yalda show still to come probably doing the same, we basically do not have a ToTH anymore during the evening hours? What an absurdity. This is what I have always hated about changes at Sky News, every time when they start to improve something such as the lighting around the glass box during UK tonight, an already existing good thing is scrapped at the same time, leaving the new programs incomplete !

Wonder if the current situation could mean Yalda makes her Sky debut sooner than planned, possibly on location.

RE: Sky News - UTVLifer - 09-10-2023

Although it can't be helped as obviously nobody foresaw this Israel situation coming, it's a shame that Yalda is between jobs at the moment as we know how much she thrives on air during these big international breaking news crisises

I did wonder the same thing.

Just wondering, has the city studio, used for Business Live, changed again? The desk is different the larger screen behind Ian seems to have gone again.

I’m sure someone said there are two city studios. Potential depending on the needs of CNBC or maintenance forces them into the other one?
