There was a similar issue in the Carabao Semi between Leicester and Chelsea, difficult even for those of us who are not colour blind.

Worth noting that as well as the two televised games in the UK having non-standard kick-off times this Sunday, the other fixture to take place, Sheffield United v. Chelsea, is at the very rare Sunday kick-off time of 17:30. The match had originally been moved to Sunday lunchtime due to Thursday's fixtures, and then was moved to the evening because of the Sheffield Half Marathon. The Sheffield Star reported that the police were fine with the originally scheduled 13:30 kick-off, but I'd think it was probably sensible to avoid both large sets of crowds be on the transport system at similar times.

A couple of monitors in a truck in the car park will do fine thanks! How on earth does that get pass fire regs?

With less than a month's notice, the schedule for Matchweek 36 has been anounced. The rescheduled Chelsea v. Tottenham fixture takes place on Thursday May 2nd, live on Sky.
The PL is blaming the now-cancelled Underground strikes for the late publishing of the schedule. I know the Premier League is not as bad as La Liga, but fixture really need to published with more notice for fans.

Semi-automated offside agreed to be introduced into the Premier League for next season. A year later than it should have been really.
It will not be ready for matchweek 1 though.

Surely if it's not ready for week one it's not fair to introduce it later in the competition.

I think the argument will be that the law will remain the same, it's just the way it's determined and the speed of the decision will happen to get quicker halfway through the season. The PGMOL would probably say, whilst defending the current system, that the people drawing lines is close to as accurate as the automated system, just a lot slower.
Your point should have been the case for the introduction of VAR in Scotland. They introduced after World Cup break in 2022, which meant a third of the season waz refereed differently to the latter two thirds.
