I actually quite like them - a bit of fun with a somewhat familiar layout, and the key info of teams, score and shirt colours immediately obvious.

RE: Premier League Coverage - bilky asko - 12-08-2023

It might get a bit messy if anyone scores 10

RE: Premier League Coverage - Rdd - 12-08-2023

Not sure if it’s just the team colours but the new scorebar looks very big and loud for Brighton v Luton on Premier Sports. Also not sure why we need to be constantly told it’s the 2023-24 season.

Edit: also, Premier have new titles, only seen the break sting though.

And he made quite the impact

He was quite good from what I saw. Should be a good addition to the roster.

The world feed intro. No major change apart from the change of clips.

A first look at the new MNF studio this season (article says it’s also going to be used for sky’s coverage of the US Open).

First look at the new Monday Night Football studio. The below also says it will be used for US Open tennis coverage.

Looks amazing, it should look fantastic in 4K UHD HDR

I know a lot of people here are more interested in News Pres, but this new Sky Sports set marks a real landmark in the presentation methods that are used by UK broadcasters (something that other broadcasters unfortunately haven't had the funds to do in recent years). Years of work has gone into it and the previews that I've seen are impressive.

And very nice it looks too.

Lots of negative things on X about Karen Carney. Can't work out if it's middle aged sexist keyboard warriors moaning or if they have a point.

I don't think it would generate so much negativity if it was some random male pundit from a lower league they didn't take a liking too.
