I would imagine, now it's single headed a decamp to the newsroom is likely as there are a number of presenting positions appearing nowadays.

Mousumi Bakshi presenting this evening.

Tonight's Look East has Mo presenting with Janine reading viewer comments but interestingly in what looks like it is probably the Cambridge gallery.

Arguably the Cambridge studio would be ideal as a 'temporary studio' for when the Norwich studio/set eventually gets upgraded.

I'd argue that Look East should have retained Cambridge over Norwich on the basis that it had a better technical setup and is in a far more central location for the region.

What does happen with the kit left behind?

Susie Fowler Watt or Amelia Reynolds haven’t been on Look East in a while.

At least Susie returns in April!

RE: BBC/ITV East News - Mike - 16-03-2023

I'm surprised there's anything left in the Cambridge gallery; normally when a site closes whatever is usable elsewhere gets deployed elsewhere very quickly.

Didn't Manchester Oxford Road's gallery end up in pieces, with the more visible elements winding up at Oxford such as the screens and multi-viewer?

Or done the logical thing and refitted the Norwich studio/upgraded the gallery and had a pan regional Look East from Cambridge whilst it was still fully operational, but that would've made too much sense.

The red carpet is due to be out tomorrow with the return of Susie.
