The trucks (UHD1/UHD2) are the same NEP trucks from Netherlands / Sweden that have done the last few Eurovision broadcasts, with support from MixBus. Main uplink is also from a Dutch company.
Wouldn’t it be too tight a turnaround from the coronation to get all the gear to Liverpool anyway?

Seeing as they were already rehearsing Eurovision on Coronation weekend, yes it was.

They had already been rehearsing with cameras for two weeks by the time the Coronation happened, so yes, so tight it would require a time machine. All the delegations had finished their individual rehearsals - the final week is just rehearsals for the live shows and those live shows themselves. Even the sat uplink kit was set up by middle of last week.

The performance vision mixing is being driven by CuePilot and specialist cameras from Opertec - also the same as the last few years if people are after more similarities.

That opening VT was very The X Factor!

Interesting that they've opened up the public vote to the rest of the world. I wonder if that will throw up any surprises when it comes to the results tonight.

Did the rest of the world have the ability to vote on Tuesday night as well?

Presumably if the ROW collectively only have 12 points to give out, unless it’s a close finish it won’t make much difference. You’d imagine that vote would go in a pretty similar direction to the overall vote as well.

"I am fully aware that Diana Vickers isn't dead, it is just a turn of phrase, and if she was, she'd only let you kill her once, yeah"

Any context for those not watching currently? I’d imagine it was Scott line rather than a Rylan one?
