Bit of a random one that, with Channel 5 not having showed any cricket since 2019 and losing all other sport bar NFL (Premiership Rugby and EFL highlights) over recent years (bar the England v. Barbarians rugby match in June). Saying that, all of the other terrestrial channels were out of the loop cricket-wise for a few years before they showed the CWC.

Compared to the previous Cricket on 5, this shouldn't be much cost outside of the rights payment, with world feed commentary mandatory in broadcasts. By the looks of it, programmes could be aired at the traditional time of 19:00 due to the timezone of India - which is far better than when the 2015 highlights were almost 24 hours late, airing after the News at Ten (likely at Sky's behest one would imagine).

It doesn't feel that long since C5 last showed cricket so should do OK for them. Games seem to start at 6am or 9.30am so guess C5 will show England games at 7pm and others at 11pm unless the contract stipulates the 9.30 starts can't air till later.

Have ITV lost interest in the NFL already - the NFL Show on at 1.05am tonight. I'm sure last year it was immediately after the news, and you'd think with the rugby would have made sense to have it as early as possible.

It's at 10:45pm next Friday.

Bit strange to have the opener so late. They obviously really wanted to show The Queen film on the anniversary of the Queens death.

Assuming should England reach the final, that will be shown on Channel 5 and Sky?

Slight problem during the Ukraine V England match on Channel 4 as both pictures and sound were lost for a few seconds during the first half.

And also in hungary (Arena 4) They had a technical issues for the live feed of the andorra vs belarus match as it is held at the andorra la viella stadium in the first half the feed kept cut in out until it was restored in the second half

The old Football masters indoor football tournaments, which were held on a regional basis, and shown on Sky Sports, back in the 2000s, are back in Scotland. BBC Scotland is showing the Scottish Masters Cup, from Braehead arena.

Going back to the US Open coverage, it's been a bit disappointing that over the last few days some of the "bonus streams" on Now TV have disappeared before play has finished for the day (some didn't appear today at all).

It wouldn't be a Sky NFL season without technical problems.

Lost Redzone and had a commentary free feed for about 10 minutes.
