I just checked and looks like its just the main ITV channel [and presumably everything that would be shown there] thats blocked, rather than all of it. My mistake, and I apologise for posting something that was incorrect. Thanks for correcting my understanding of the situation. 👍

Unfortunately, the dumb edit limits on this site means I can't go back and strike out what I wrote to make it clear I was wrong. :|

I saw a comment from an England women's player saying that "it's no excuse that the (men's) Rugby World Cup is on for a free-to-air TV channel not to pick up the games".

OK then, we'll take away your dedicated stand-alone window for the Women's Six Nations and play the games immediately after the men's as an afterthought Smile...

Even just scheduling on early Sunday afternoon where there are no World Cup matches would be wiser, but really the best time would be immediately off the back of the World Cup - which might be when the new womens international league starts - although from a UK perspective all these games seem to be down in New Zealand, so not great to grow an audience here.

Hopefully the Womens World Cup in 2025 can be something of a game changer for Womens Rugby but at the moment it feels a long way behind Womens Football. It's Aug/Sep run time should also mean no mens international during the same period, though of course the leagues will start up.

And qaccording to the below, the studio would be 'very American looking' as it's shared with NBC.

Indeed the post-round coverage is now from the same set but presented by NBC/Golf Channel, with Sky’s Paul McGinley remaining on, and a combination of the world feed and Golf Channel graphics being used.

The BBC are using the World Feed graphics in their Ryder Cup highlights tonight.

WXV 1 rights latest.

It looks likely that ITV will show England's games and stream three others, with S4C airing Wales' games. Every game will be also available on RugbyPass TV.

That sounds about what I was expecting.
S4C streamed Wales' matches in last year's RWC in NZ and then showed them on delay that afternoon on the linear channel, and ITV had highlights during daytime of the World Cup, so that would likely be replicated methinks.

The televsied fixtures for the next rounds of the league cups in Scotland and England have been confirmed.

In Scotland, both semi-finals of the Viaplay Cup will be live on Viaplay on the 4th and 5th of November at 17:15 on the Saturday and 15:00 on the Sunday.

In England, Sky's two selected Carabao Cup fourth round ties will be West Ham v. Arsenal and Manchester United v. Newcastle. Rather oddly, these two matches will both air on the evening of Wednesday November 1st, with the West Ham game a 19:30 kick-off and the Man United game at 20:15. Due to the scheduling of all four teams' surrounding matches, there was no other option for both the selected matches to take place on the Wednesday. Although these were the two outstanding ties of the draw, I'm really surprised Sky opted to show two clashing matches rather than pick a slightly less heralded tie that could have been shown on the Tuesday or the Thursday; they will be splitting their casual audience, though all four teams will bring in an audience of their own.

Although not high profile, one set of rights have transferred from Viaplay to another broadcaster. BTRDA Rallycross has moved to SportyStuff TV. As before, it's just a magazine and highlights programme, not live coverage.

And the FTA simulcast of next week's English Open snooker from Eurosport will be expanded compared to last season. It is scheduled to be on DMAX from 1pm-3pm Monday-Thursday, from 11:45-6pm on Friday and at 12:45pm and 6:45pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Not sure if the early weekday coverage will show the main table's 1pm match and then stay on past 3/leave before 3 when that finishes, or if it will be a rigid two hours of coverage. Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday have longer slots so will presuambly stay until the finish of the session.

Why is the snooker on ITV3 tonight when ITV4 don't have any live sport?

Edit: I guess it's because of the Football Highlights have to be at 9pm on ITV4?
