Edit: I guess it's because of the Football Highlights have to be at 9pm on ITV4?

The football takes precedence I guess.

Busy weekend for sport on ITV with the NFL and Prix De L'Arc De Triomphe tomorrow - indeed various highlights programmes on ITV from 6am-1pm tomorrow then live racing, rugby and snooker through to 10pm.

Do ITV have any highlights rights for La Liga in addition to live coverage?

Seems the BBC arent covering The Great Scottish Run this year, Thats a shame. A sign of no money continues I guess.

They have the World Athletics Road Running Championships on Red Button and iPlayer today, so a rather unfortunate diary clash, which probably doesn't help the situation

Peter Drury with his first appearance on MNF tonight and first Sky appearance on a day other than a Sunday and possibly first commentary on Sky without Gary Neville as tonight he had Andy Hinchcliffe alongside him. I know his primary slot is Sunday 4.30pm but good to see them mixing it about a bit.

There was only 1 Sunday game yesterday as the the Ryder Cup took preference (rightly so and well done Europe).

The home nations snooker logo, used in the bottom left corner of the four tournaments making up the series, is not there on the coverage this year, just the wst logo.

Judging by this afternoon’s DMAX coverage, no sooner than Mark Selby had won his first round match (just before 3pm) that they immediately jumped back into their usual schedule.

Hasn't been there since Eurosport effectively stopped producing the coverage themselves (which started in the 2021-22 season). All of Eurosports' events are now just "broadcast only" with added commentary (ie they no longer produce match table coverage as their own): they ceded all broadcasting control to WST, hence the WST graphic.

a spot of MLB on the BBC:

(the matches are also on TNT Sports)

meanwhile the NBA preseason starts on Thursday and appears to not yet have a UK broadcaster signed.

Even more itching to leave the snooker on DMAX today - took just over an hour for Ronnie O'Sullivan to win his second round game this afternoon.

Due off air at 3pm, but by 2.15pm, they were already showing Wheeler Dealers.

Don't know why they even bother, to be honest.
