Scotland Vs England in the Women's Nations League will be live on BBC1 on Tuesday 5th December.

A brief breakdown on Channel 4 there as we had a few seconds of colour bars and a loss of commentary.

Rights pick up for Sky Sports - they’ve picked up at least some of the ESPN/ABC College Football rights. They are airing ESPN’s College Gameday along with two ABC games (Louisville @ Miami (FL) and Washington @ Oregon St) along with Wake Forest @ Notre Dame which they were showing anyway in a separate deal.

Great news for college football fans even though it comes only three weeks before the end of the regular season (will be right on time for Bowl Season though which will give Sky a chunk of live US sport over Christmas).

See the Cricket World Cup Final between India and Australia is live on C5 tomorrow.

And Football Focus seems to have tweaked it's virtual set for this week to look like a dressing room with host and guest on locker room style benches.

Press release from Sky for the ESPN deal.

https://www.skysports.com/amp/nfl/news/12118/13010262/sky-sports-secure-rights-to-show-ncaa-college-football-until-the-end-of-2024-25-season

It’s not quite as wide a deal as BT used to have (which basically gave them access to all their non-major league content) but does include college basketball as well as football.

The bbc haven’t quite nailed it with their virtual setup it is impressive but it still feels like the presenters and pundits have been cut out and it’s too sharp on the edges, Eurosport and premier league productions seems to have nailed it, itv sport almost except the subjects looked like they have green hue on them, it’s getting there though, it can only improve over time.

That part of the virtual set has been there since the start of the season, they moved to that part of the set midway through the first programme and then went back to the main part by the end IIRC.

Edit: although looking back at todays, it looks bigger than I remember and the whole show is presented from that virtual setting.

I find it odd when they cut cameras and the backdrops are different (and it’s clearly a choice to do it as it happens across programmes / both VR studios). So on the wide shot you might have graphics in the background (a club logo) then it cuts to the MCU and the backdrop, which from the angle it’s framed from would definitely have that graphic, is clean.

Wonder if C5 will do what C4 did in 2019 and take the Sky Sports commentary on the Cricket World Cup final tomorrow?

Spot the mistakes here

I first noticed the 2nd and 3rd the wrong way round.
Also, the Armenia and especially the Latvia win-draw-lose numbers don't add up
