They successfully managed some of last year's Roland-Garros coverage with one commentator in London and with John McEnroe or Laura Robson co-commentating from Paris; Alex Corretja did similar for the Spanish language feed, so I imagine they will do the same again this year for some matches.

According to the report, all matches will be on BBC Two - but I won't be surprised if some (especially play off matches) are on BBC One instead

The reports I’ve seen are suggesting a Saturday evening kick off, which I inferred as meaning prime time but nothing exact is said and it could just as easily mean teatime. Of course this remains an unconfirmed report.

This has currently left the second part of next week's Silent Witness story without a linear airing. It was due to air on Monday and Tuesday with The Traitors airing Wednesday-Friday on BBC One, but now the first episode airs on Monday with no confirmed airing for part 2. Not sure what would be best, apart from moving the football to the less cluttered BBC Two or Three schedule. Air something else on Monday and have no Silent Witness for a week would be what I would do.

I am sure Silent Witness being one of the BBC flagship dramas part 2 will air somewhere. I wonder if they could show the Traitors at 8pm on Wednesday with Silent Witness at 9.

The Traitors features some strong language at times which makes it unsuitable for pre-9pm watershed (if that is still a thing).

Luton's FA Cup replay next at Bolton next Tuesday has brought their Premier League game at Burnley forward to this Friday, but TNT keep the match.
It's a busy enough weekend for them too - two (much bigger) PL games on Saturday, all the Champions Cup rugby, Formula E, plus Eurosport handling all the Aussie Open. I'd imagine they could have done without rearranging an entire OB on top of that.

Eurosport's lead alpine skiing commentator Nick Fellows has left the role after 32 years. He has taken up a position with the governing body as the Director of FIS TV, their new streaming platform.

I wouldn't say Nick was the greatest commentator, but was very distinctive and iconic in the role. It will be odd not hearing him often. It sounds like he is still voicing the YouTube highlights from the FIS.

Charlie Brougham has filled in on men's races last week and this week coming, alongside former British skier Ed Drake, with regular co-comm Finlay Mickle also doing less commentary at the moment. Another multi-sport regular in Matt Chilton continues as the lead women's commentator (alongside Emma Carrick-Anderson frequently this year).

Over on the BBC's alpine offering, Ski Sunday, there doesn't appear to be much changes to normal based on the first episode. Chemmy Alcott is firmly the co-host to Ed Drake now, whilst Graham Bell is the main commentator. Long term BBC skiing commentator Matt Chilton hasn't featured this year or last, though he would have often doubled up on Eurosport's women's coverage and then the men's race for the BBC highlights; also, from what I gather from this season's Eurosport commentary, I don't think Chilton is UK based and is possibly doing his Eurosport work from home rather than Chiswick.

For the record, the highlights edit was around 20 minutes of the 45 minute show. One minor complaint I have is that the sounds effects of the title sequence are crowding out the iconic theme tune too often.
