Chemmy Alcott is firmly the co-host to Ed Drake now, whilst Graham Bell is the main commentator. Long term BBC skiing commentator Matt Chilton hasn't featured this year or last, though he would have often doubled up on Eurosport's women's coverage and then the men's race for the BBC highlights; also, from what I gather from this season's Eurosport commentary, I don't think Chilton is UK based and is possibly doing his Eurosport work from home rather than Chiswick.

For the record, the highlights edit was around 20 minutes of the 45 minute show. One minor complaint I have is that the sounds effects of the title sequence are crowding out the iconic theme tune too often.

Just found out that another long serving Eurosport winter sport commentator in David Goldstrom has left the ski jumping coverage at the start of the season. Ian Findlay, who has mainly covered freestyle skiing/snowboarding, has replaced him.

By accident or by design, a bit of turnover at Eurosport.

Ed Leigh not Ed Drake presents Ski Sunday of course Huh

Ed Drake on Eurosport, Ed Leigh on Ski Sunday.

Sky Sports must be having some issues as they've just put out over 30 mins of trailers and filler material on Main Event before joining the tennis in Auckland. Adelaide on Sky Sports Arena.

It was due to air on Monday and Tuesday with The Traitors airing Wednesday-Friday on BBC One, but now the first episode airs on Monday with no confirmed airing for part 2. Not sure what would be best, apart from moving the football to the less cluttered BBC Two or Three schedule. Air something else on Monday and have no Silent Witness for a week would be what I would do.

This has been resolved with next week's Silent Witness airing on Monday then Monday, with a repeat of Who Do You Think You Are? pencilled in for the following Tuesday.

Waterloo Road will miss a week, though the whole series is already on iPlayer.

But of a silly oversight not to schedule in the FA Cup ahead of time, but a satisfactory solution.

Sir Clive Woodward has told The Times he has stepped down from ITV's Six Nations coverage.

ITV's A-team has felt in need of a refresh in recent years, so good to hear that change is coming. More details next week on coverage (posts on this thread on the 20th last year).

That's great news - the England trio were by far the dullest of their World Cup coverage.

ITV once again using ITV4 for the Saturday night game, though this time a 7pm kick-off. Surprised really they've not put it at 5.30pm on ITV1 with Masked Singer to follow.

The BBC will actually show 10 games from the Africa Cup of Nations, like they did two years ago. Not sure why that has been announced later than the Sky deal, but good to see some FTA coverage.

Think that TV selection satisfies just about everyone that wants to be satisfied. Both non-league teams to be shown, both the biggest teams in Liverpool and Manchester United shown, and two decent looking all PL ties. ITV like having a game on ITV 4, and that one looks the dullest tie for me. I'd presume the 5:30 slot will air a Red Button game and/or Wrexham/Swansea on BBC Wales/S4C.

11:45 for West Brom I'd presume was West Midlands Police being a little spooked at the potential of a feisty derby. Has there been many domestic matches that have kicked off before noon in England? I think a few WSL matches have started 11:30 on Sky.

TNT Sports (UK!) doing on-site coverage of the NBA game in Paris this evening, including Darren Fletcher on commentary like he was for the MLB games in London. I know he's a baseball fan, no idea how much he knows about basketball!

Hazel Irvine's coverage of the Masters Snooker QF shown on BBC Two is also being simulcast on BBC RB 1 this evening.
