Wouldn’t it make more sense for the FA to just postpone the draw until after the Liverpool v Norwich match, or is that not allowed, or is it the rights holders that have the final say on such things?

EDIT: Mark Pougatch confirmed at the end of the West Brom v Wolves match that the draw will now take place at halftime during the Liverpool v Norwich match.

It's now been moved to half time. After it is tricky as Newport v Man Utd kicks off at 4.30pm so barely anytime between the two for any broadcaster airing both.

The draw with the least fanfare in many a year.

No run through of the numbers, no VT and chat with Glen Johnson. The drawing probably started less than 60 second after the ad break had finished. Only one person drawing the numbers as well, which makes sense with so little to draw by this stage.

No figures for last week that I've seen, but have got some for this week below. This certainly felt like it had less fanfare, so I'd expect the previous week to be a lot bigger.

The BBC have unveiled their men's Six Nations coverage.

- Gabby Logan unsurprisingly hosts, with Andrew Cotter on live commentary.

- Despite being part of ITV's team, Ugo Monye will remain as the presenter of Rugby Special on Sundays.

- Also announced as part of both channels' coverage are Sergio Parisse and Benjamin Kayser.

- Other pundits are as previous years: Sam Warburton, Martin Johnson, John Barclay, Jonathan Davies, and Chris Paterson, with Dylan Hartley also appearing.

- All games on radio, with Rugby Union Weekly podcast becoming Rugby Union Daily once again.

And an impressive start for the Netflix Six Nations series

Watched the first episode but found it a bit dull. Will watch the rest but not exactly in a hurry to do so. Suspect I'll find the Wales focused episodes much more engaging.

For some reason, the BBC Wales coverage of Blackburn v. Wrexham is using elongated score box on the scoreboard.

Compared v. network yesterday at Newport

Safe to say a full long televised weekend of Welsh clubs in the cup ended...as well as could have been expected.

Lineker didn't help matters by referring to the Cymru Premier (as seen on S4C!) as a 'farmers' league' during the Newport game yesterday.

An annual tradition from me, the World Aquatics Championships begin on Friday and there is once again no broadcaster in place in the UK. This is despite an EBU deal covering many other territories in Europe as last year. Coverage will be available via the All Aquatics Eurovision Sport website.

It is worth noting that this will not be a full strength event (in swimming for definite and most likely other disciplines too). This is a bonus championship and the first one ever in an Olympic year. Fukuoka's hosting got delayed from 2021 to 2022 (due to the Olympic postponement) and then deferred until 2023 because of Japan's COVID efforts, with Doha being displaced from 2023 to a bonus event this year.
