Itv returned to the studio, and because the emergency is behind Stephen hendry and Ken Doherty, itv, quite rightly, didn't use the camera focusing on them, and instead used the one showing the three people in the studio. Players and audience have left the arena. Jill Douglas, the presenter, handled it well.

Jill is one of the best.

Incidentally, it looks like Jill will miss the final on Sunday as she is scheduled to present France v. Italy in the Six Nations on ITV 1. The wording on the programme information suggests to me that will be from Ealing, with Ireland v. Wales being presented from Dublin. With no England on ITV this week, Miles Harrison suprisingly gets the bigger game in Ireland v. Wales, with Nick Mullins covering France v. Italy.

Over on the BBC, Dylan Hartley will be the English representation in the commentary box for their only England game of the year v. Scotland.

Is this in a studio regularly used by Talk TV? Looks a good setup for a YouTube programme by a radio station though.

Yes, it’s one of the two TV studios they use.

There will be two other Super League matches on BBC Two and two others on iPlayer only. One of the BBC Two games will be on a Friday night rather than on Saturday.

Correction, two of those games will be on BBC Three. And one of the iPlayer exclusives will be on the BBC Red Button.

They all will host their seconds legs, and it is very rare for British teams to host in the 17:55 slot. So, something will probably have to give, as I don't think TNT Sports would want to broadcast (and really produce) five top matches simultaneously then.

The UEFA Europa League and Europa Conference League Round of 16 fixtures have been drawn and confirmed today. Rangers and West Ham will host their second legs at 17:45 GMT. Not a surprise something has given, but I'm expecting to hear complaints from fans of such an early kick-off.

I think tonight is the first time ITV1 have shown an England’s women’s match played outside of England in primetime. All previous matches outside of England shown by then have been on ITV4 or non primetime.

Expect it would have been on ITV4 any other day of the week and if they didn't have snooker over there. Friday night on ITV1 is pretty weak at the moment.

The scorebar is a bit weird. It’s in ITV Sport’s colours but is different with the team badges included and what seems a totally different font. Not sure who’s producing the match coverage.

Haven’t seen any of the other graphics, apart from the studio bits which look the same as normal.

If the general rule of thumb is that Nick Mullins commentates on all the England Six Nations games remains, then Miles Harrison could have an even bigger game on 16th March with Ireland going for possible - and unprecedented - back-to-back Six Nations Grand Slams against Scotland in Dublin.

But then again, your primary presenter and commentator should be at the game where the big prizes are handed out (like as in last year's World Cup final when Mark Pougatch hosted and Mullins commentated whereas the 3rd place match - even though it involved England - was hosted by Jill Douglas with Harrison commentating).
