Update II: Perry v. Milkins will no longer take place tonight, with a bonus session occuring on Thursday morning at 09:30 to conclude the match. Presumably this means the BBC will have an 83rd programme from the Crucible in place of Nicky Campbell.

To clarify, the paint incident was on the table that was on the Red Button, with the other protester was shown live on BBC Four. Kudos to the referee below for apprehending the protester (a radiographer by profession who returned to frontline nursing during the height of the pandemic).

On the second table (on the wide shot) you'll see the referee struggling to stop the other protestor getting onto the table.
It's gone largely unnoticed but the first person to come and help the referee was the cameraman of all people! You see him hang his headphones up and run over. So while the players did absolutely nothing, huge Kudos to whoever the cameraman was (and the ref)!

Having attended a few media events in the past where Rob Walker was in attendance (and having briefly met him) I can tell you hand on heart he is one of the most kind, likeable, knowledgable (and funny) people in sports commentary.
Pretty sure I've heard people mention he'll even stay behind after shifts to help the technical teams pack up kit/pack equipment down.

more blackout window shenanigans: this Saturday's FA Cup semi-final has a 1645 kick-off, which means that other broadcasters can also transmit matches at the same time - so far it seems only BT are taking advantage, with Lazio v Torino in its entirety; rather than joining it after 15 minutes.
