As it stands, that will probably include all of Europe's big five...

I came across when checking the Wikipedia article to make sure I had the above correct, in late March FIFA agreed a deal with the EBU, but only with 28 territories with the big five countries not included.

I suspect the big 5 can bring in more financially lucrative deals desperately

Would that work and how but they would miss out on a shed load of money and viewers which wouldn't help the women's game at all in the big 5 and elsewhere

Seema Jaswal presenting the snooker on BBC Two this morning, the fourth presenter to feature on the BBC so far.

Catrin Heledd is set to present live URC rugby for BBC Wales and I'd presume Rishi Persad is busy with ITV Racing, hence Seema appearing today.

Some technical issues on the DAZN coverage of Chelsea v. Barcelona in the UEFA Women's Champions League (at least in English on YouTube).

The first few minutes of the coverage aired without the commentary, before it cut in mid-sentence. Then, as the teams were coming out of the tunnel, the feed switched to Fulham v. Leeds in the Premier League. Halfway through the Fulham team graphic from the world feed, the feed switched back to Chelsea just ahead of the Chelsea team graphic.

Seema was on yesterday morning as well, last year it was Seema Jaswal, Jason Mohammad, Hazel Irvine & Rishi Persad although Seema only appeared on the 1st week and Jason did the 2nd week.

GAAGO, the GAA’s in house streaming service have launched their own match graphics (having previously used RTE’s) and their scorebar is an almost direct copy of the URC’s.

Rishi Persad was on the BBC Four coverage of the snooker with Steve Davis tonight.

Have to say was very impressed with GAAGOs graphics package - one of the nicest sports graphics sets I’ve seen in a while. As well as the obviously URC inspired scorebar it takes a lot of cues from that nice 2020 Autumn Nations Cup package. RTE’s own graphics package which is heading for eight years old now is really showing its age alongside it.
