It doesn’t sound he has signed any deals yet. I get the feeling from previous comments he might not want to actually live in Qatar.

A friend has said Souness was taking up a position with Rangers Football Club, and he had to give up his media commitments as a result. Not able to confirm this though.

Always came across a miserable sod to me.

(And yes, I get the irony in that comment 🤣)

this looks like it'll also have a knock-on for the Scottish Cup Final, which is usually a 3pm kick-off - this report suggest it'll be moved to 12.15.

Fifa are building up here to offering their Own service I suspect.

Considering the bids are all in the same ballpark across the 5 countries that pretty much suggests they're offering a fair price. An overnight /early morning tournament is never going yo be attractive to broadcasters.

Not something you see too often these days - a clock to air on Sky Sports.

Sky not really creative these days, just pop some pop music on and hey presto there are the theme music, not like the olden days when they meant it.

Er they’ve been using various pop music tracks as Super Sunday’s theme music since 1997 - I think only the very first theme (“Here We Go…This is it”) was commissioned specially for it.
