Goodness me that colour mix is awful with a really bright background and some horrible mixed font colours. Had to squirt just to stop being distracted with the blue.

EDIT: Squint not squirt... #AkwardAutoCorrect

If the photos weren't there that graphic could easily have been generated by Ceefax... or on a BBC Micro! That looks very dated.

To be honest, it kind of looks like 'Pages from Ceefax' upgraded their systems to include pictures with more pixels, and I wasn't expected to see it on a cricket highlights programme.

A bit of unsurprising but sad news, Geoff Shreeves is the latest reporter to leave Sky Sports.

There really can’t be many personnel at Sky Sports left who’ve been there since the 1990’s now.

On the football side I think only Rob Hawthorne is left from that era now. There may be some left in rugby league mind.

The rugby union department is pretty much gone, bar Sanzaar games that they just pick up host broadcaster feeds, and I’m not sure if it’s been announced whose doing the next Lions, otherwise I’d have mentioned Miles Harrison, of course.

I'd have said ewen Murray at the golf, and Charles Colville at cricket, who were there in the 90s.

Is it a homage to the 80s/90s cricket graphics where every word was in a blue box? You half expect to see "Honeywell Bull Computer" appear on the bottom
