The lower case name title isn't as easy to read on the new weather logo.

Think it's down to the fact the photo in the background hasn't been "blurred" like it usually is.

Here's the new ending slate for the WN regional weather bulletins. The logo is composed of two colors - black for the BBC logo, blue for the "WEATHER" tag.

Yes, Rich Preston posted this on Sunday night and from the same floor manager! B shares the same Green Room as C in the basement. A joke of course. Amelia also managed the floor when Sir Huw took over the coverage of Prince Philip's passing.

TVNewser posted an article about the presenters dressing down and the roving newsroom presentation.

Quote:As part of its modernization efforts, the BBC News channel will encourage more smartphone camera reporting and put their presenters in the newsroom, having them stand in front of giant iPads to give viewers a look at how they verify news footage.

Kinda sounds like Shepard Smith and the Fox NewsDeck. Get ready for the BBC NewsDeck (LOL Joke)

Actually, that report was firstly covered as a scoop by Deadline. Launch date for the merged channel: April 3.

Additionally, Deadline got the names of the six London-based presenters for the new channel: Matthew Amroliwala, Yalda Hakim, Christian Fraser, Lucy Hockings, and Maryam Moshiri.

The first paragraph isn't quite right. It was the Sunday Times article from last weekend which confirmed the 3rd April launch day first (in terms of a media outlet).

Well I'm going to out do both of you and point out it was actually The Guardian on 2 February that first reported that the new channel was due to launch "in the first week of April"

I was only mentioning the TVNEWSER article to add the press thats been done and maybe see if there was new info or a new perspective to glean from it. The TVNewser actually quotes and mentions the previous Deadline article. Wasnt trying to outdo anyone. Smile
