Outside Source was in Studio C.

There really is no consistency whatsoever on this channel anymore.

Next we'll be hearing the merger's off and everything's being unrolled back to the old schedule (well Weekends anyway) that's how inconsistent everything is right now.

I'd say that's highly unlikely, but if things stay as they are now rather than going to a full merger, that could be classed as a win for both World and the NC.
The 8 - 9pm hour Monday - Thursday is now very disjointed on the NC. If the NC only presenter is doing 8:30 - 9pm, why not just do the whole hour NC only?
The OS presenter has to welcome so many different sets of viewers at 8pm it's a bit ridiculous.

Not sure if anyone else has caught this already, but it seems that another element of the new NC branding is rolling out:

If Mishal Husain has voiced it all, it sure works for me.

The curved screen in Studio B failed to show the myriad of nations & regions at the end of the Six.

Then all they have to do is put weekends back to how it was til a few weeks ago (including letting the NC See the BBC1 Late Bulletin) and as what you described re the NC getting it's 8-9pm hour back Monday-Thursday then we're onto a winner.

I was only listening while I was in the kitchen cooking dinner, and I wondered why Anne Davies (East Midlands Today) didn’t say thanks to Sophie.

How often is it that BBC World takes The Papers at 22.30 GMT? I’ve checked the schedule and this evening seems to be an anomaly?

The font weights on the lower thirds are different than normal this evening, looking rather strange.

Also interesting to see that they haven't used the adapted Arthur theme used in 2020. Nice to see Katty and Christian together, although I can't help but think they've underutilised the beautiful DC set this evening.

What is usually a very spacious looking set looks incredibly cramped and small. I appreciate they’ve moved the screens around to cover the walkway/door to the right and have wheeled in a touchscreen, but that desk is expandable further (yup, I’m obsessed with that second wing being used). It works the same way the desk in CNN’s newsroom does.
