Some teasers for The Great British Bake Off are now airing on Channel 4. Spotted this evening by TV Whirl within The Simpsons:

We shall see what changes are made to the schedules, but for now, this sting did appear earlier today.

Is playout such commodity thing that nobody wants to do it in house anymore?

I've noticed something new on More4 - previously the DOG only appeared during the programmes, but now it's appearing on the adverts during the break (fading in and out at the beginning and end of each ad like it does on the programmes) but strangely not the trails for other Channel 4 programmes.

I wonder if that's an anomaly from having the adverts replaced by that holding animation on Monday?

Hopefully this is the appropriate thread to mention this - RXTV reports that Channel 4 HD will move to the more prominent 104 slot on Sky and Freesat next Tuesday, as regionalised variants launch on satellite:

Mod Note: Link updated as seems RXTV changed it to add Virgin after this was originally posted.

Sunday 25th September marked the start of the Jewish New Year, and Channel 4 has aired it's 'Shana Tova' ident first seen last year.

Thought this was a nice touch, but was wondering what is the orange substance that the 4 bits were made of?
