This reboot seems to have slipped out under the radar with very little promotion (I only heard about it from Frank Skinner's podcast), with Elis James and Matt Lucas hosting and Andrew Mensah in the Statto role.
I really enjoyed the first episode, There's a fine line that reboots often misjudge balancing being a lovingly created tribute to the original without feeling like a cheap tribute act, and I think this nailed it. Everything was very familiar, with a few nice (but not laboured) nods to Baddiel and Skinner.
Took me right back to Sunday lunchtimes in the 90s wondering how the hell they got away with repeating it before the watershed!
