What doesn't make sense with the recent ITV ECPs is it actually gives them less promo room. If they cropped them but then reduced the size by 25% rather than 50% not only would the credits be more readable but they would have a bigger space to run promotional footage too.

I have noticed in the last week or so that whilst all ITV channels still use promos which end with a 'swipe' to the ITVX logo, it's rarely mentioned by name in the VOs.

Perhaps they are now satisfied that the streaming brand has become established enough to just be recognised by the logo.
