Has there been any extended bulletins etc in Australia after the events in Sydney earlier today

There was rolling coverage on the commercials and ABC news channel with extended evening bulletins throughout the weekend. And all ABC state 7pm bulletins were extended on Sunday given these events and Iran-Israel.

Stuff might be stepping in for a much slimmed-down Newshub.

It's official: Stuff will be making Three's 6pm bulletin after July 6. It'll be an hour on weekdays and half on weekends.

It'll not be Newshub in name, but they'll use their existing studio before building their own, as well as hiring about 40 Newshub people.

It's quite a price to pay in terms of job losses - and Stuff is itself not in the best of health financially - but at least it will crucially retain some kind of TV news plurality.

The deal doesn't include the Sky Open news at 5.30pm, which still appears to be up in the air.

New details about 10's late news revival: It'll be on streaming first before going on the network.

We now have a date for 10's late news: Starting from April 29, it'll be hosted by senior journalist Ursula Heger. The mooted 10 at 10 name is also scrapped for 10('s) Late News (no First).
