I remember that programme.  Although it was made in 1999, it didn't hit the TV screens until around 2001 as due to legal issues, it was "postponed more times than a Scottish FA Cup tie in January"

"Benjy the Binman"

Benjamin Pell also appeared a few times on another VLS-produced show: The Vicious Circle (C5, 2000). Basically it was a TV review show where 6 guests discussed 1 programme. Recorded at London Bridge Studios, seemingly in the dark on night vision cameras. Pell came across as intellgent and erudite, however his voice went up a few octaves when he got agitated making him squeal like Ned Beatty in Deliverance.
