They just announced at the end of BBC South East Today that Geoff Clark has died aged 77.

Didn't he replace Mike Debens on Meridian Tonight South East or was that further down the line?

I'm sure he returned to Radio Kent to do some sports work after his fairly controversial departure from SET - "the bosses told me to go, so I'm going!" (Beverley Thompson left the day before, IIRC)
