When it comes to News themes it would probably be easier to name the ones you don’t like.

It probably would have been to be honest. On that note, I was never terribly fond of the orchestral Five News theme that replaced the original one.

No sport themes?
Keith Mansfield's Grandstand theme, Barry Stoller's MOTD theme, Tony Hatch's Sportsnight theme, Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain", Booker T. & the M.G.'s "Soul Limbo", the Doug Wood Band's "Drag Racer" and Johnny Pearson's "Heavy Action" are all classics - but another one I've always liked is the Sport on Friday theme, "Hitting Home" by John Devereaux and David Reilly:
