Probably of someone's interest in fictional TV news in disasters: NBC's Special Bulletin (1983), detailing RBS TV's newsroom, handling a nuclear hostage in Charleston, S. Carolina:

Thames' 21st birthday show, in full (almost), 1989. "Happy birthday, Thames - and here's to the next 21*"
*Well, one-seventh of it anyway.

and here's the Redvers Kyle leading to the show on fellow '68 newbie YTV:

Has anyone noticed that the words "Thames Television" from "21 Years of Variety from Thames Television" looks exactly like the one on Thames' 1990 blue and gold triangle logo?

In a break from every other Phillip Schofield story at the moment, someone has uploaded an entire pilot episode of The Phillip Schofield show from 2005

Maybe I should watch more than the first 20 seconds but odd, they wouldn’t get him to present it.

Edit: did watch some more, very boring. You do get real Noel Edmonds vibes of Schofield when he’s fronting something like that.

This moment at 35:22 really makes me think of Noel Edmonds for some reason.

Full episode of ITV saturday Morning Show Tricky:

Claudia Winkleman looking back and cringing here...

Technical breakdown around 35 minutes in. Cuts back mid-way though Claudia doing a phone-in interview, so they clearly didn't stop production (Claudia apologises soon after coming back though).
