You've Been Framed!

It slotted in very nicely though around 5.30/6pm on Saturday nights and ultimately became available in 30, 45 and 60 minute slots. It may have been the bridge between the news and primetime programming but it was a little bit more than filler initially at least, especially in the days when Saturday nights were regularly scheduled from 5.30pm onwards.

I don't know if tonight was the first transmission of YBF since it was confirmed that it was ending, but the episode cut straight from the final clip to the end credits, removing Harry's appeal for viewers to send clips into the show as well as his farewell. Makes complete sense, though it's oddly jarring after hearing the shows end in a particular way after so many years.

I believe there were also 15 minute reversions shown after CITV in March 2004, to fill a gap created by shortening 24 Hour Quiz due to poor ratings tvforum.uk
