Probably some deeper analysis required, but one would imagine ITV will be quite pleased with these numbers.

This might be interesting, seems that ITV have posting next week's episode of 'Red Eye' on ITVX, but for the paying subscribers on ITVX Premium: twitter.com

Looks like that is not properly worded, deliberate or otherwise, as all six episodes are on the free tier of ITV X at the moment.

They were all up before the first episode even aired on TV!

I've watched the first three (I couldn't wait after the first) on ITVX free tier.

They seem to have introduced ads on the live ITV channels before you get to actually watch it which I'm pretty sure they didn't do till recently. This resulted in a lot of complaints in a bar I was in last night when the ITV4 stream buffered, then showed 4 ads before eventually returning to the channel itself halfway through the second half. Really poor showing for sport especially but just unnecessary and annoying given the feeds are already full of broadcast ads. That's not how it works on an EPG so that shouldn't be how it works here.

I think the real crime here is the bar using streaming to show the football.

They’ve been doing that since their early ITV Hub days!

£59.99 to remove the ads is well worth it in my opinion.
