Needs to be someone with no links to the government or the Tory party for people to have a chance of regaining trust in the BBC.

It's no worse than 'not the one show' and will probably have similarly humiliating viewing figures.
In other news, are not showing the highlights under the MotD banner tonight. The broadcast is, well, just weird!

They've not even referred to it as 'Match of the Day' - there was a 'Premier League Highlights' title card then straight into Bournemouth vs Liverpool.
