GB News (June 2024 - Present)

‘GBN Tonight’ has appeared with Martin Daunby. Instead of Farage.

I think he will return to his doing a regular slot ultimately, he’s not going to get ask many questions in parliament so this is still going to the main way he keeps his profile up.

Confirmation that Farage will be returning to host his GB News show.
Quote:Nigel Farage Returning To GB News After Being Elected To Parliament
Nigel Farage is returning to the GB News presenting chair just a week after being elected to parliament for the first time, with Ofcom now likely to face scrutiny over how it regulates his show.

According to the Telegraph, Donald Trump’s pal will present his show on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

If the Telegraph is correct that means he'll be presenting one less day than before. GB News' TV schedule still has him down for presenting on Mondays, as well as Tues to Thurs.

Strange for Deadline to be sourcing from a fan account and claiming it's an official one.
Incidently he is returning but not because "GBNews Updates" said so, but because GBNews themselves said so on their own website.

GB News Radio are now using AI to create their sport updates:

radiotoday.co.uk

I think this is the first notable station to use AI to such an extent. Wonder how long it will be before other non-tinpot stations start pivoting towards AI.

Sounds like the potential for someone to try and prank them, by creating fake stories and seeing if the AI scrapes up any of those articles and headlines. You'd like to think that someone will still proof-read the text that the AI has generated, before allowing it to go out on air.

It's already used by major radio groups in the world, and one uk group newsroom aired local bullitens , rewritten irn copy and ai voiced to cover sickness on a few weekends

Quite a few of the smaller EU news channels have extensively used ai to repackage, script and dub.

It's handy tool to reversion your own online copy for audio and video, and in reverse to take interviews from linear radio/tv and make online story's and social posts

Happens way more than people think
