He is a legend and while the BBC election coverage has had its failings the benefit of John Curtice’s analysis is a big trump card for their coverage. His stamina is incredible as well.

Both Sky and BBC News have been very very unsure about this West Midlands Mayoral results. Even since 3pm and the recount, they know the figures, and its like they don't know what to do? They making X factor look fast.

They don’t know the figures though? That’s literally why.

Sky's decision to do extra weekend Local Election shows including another Politics Hub on a Saturday night has really paid off given the interest of some of the mayor elections especially in the West Midlands. Just need a John King like person at a screen and you have got the whole set!

Its put the BBC to shame, There are doing Sports day right now. The fact Sky has been able to play it by ear, I doubt they expected it to go beyond 5pm.

And BBC News have missed the news on the WM mayor because they're showing sports and weather instead. Pretty shocking they dropped the ball here.

Laura Kuennesberg's tweet from yesterday has now been slapped with a community note. A little embarrassing. With this, and her almost getting in serious trouble for discussing postal vote number in the 2019 election, it is maybe best for everyone if she stays off the internet on the day of the next election.

And now it's a world news bulletin.

Thank goodness for Sky News which has been hands down better than the BBC which pretty much came from the broom cupboard presented by Geeta Guru Murthy ...

I don't think even 2 or 3 years back we'd have been expecting Sky to cover election results better than the BBC.
