I don't find the filmic look that offensive, but I just think it makes it look less 'live'.

But yes there is a bug telling you that you’ve already voted 20 times, at least it does still let you override that and vote anyway.

It’s much easier voting via the app and letting it dial the number for you tbh.

Have you hit this limit? The terms and conditions seem to state that this isn't the case.

That explain would why the official Eurovision accounts are yet to upload Eric's segment of the opening number

Presumbly they’ll have to send it to KCTV in Pyongyang before they upload it as they specialise in censoring clothing items.

Probably but I wouldn't have thought they'd have the ability to change the message you hear so once you've gone past 20 votes, they just don't count any more votes that your phone number has made.

The 20 vote limit on all forms of voting has existed for years and they've certainly mentioned it on the show previously, I remember Alesha saying it last year for example. It's listed in the terms and conditions here: https://eurovision.tv/vote

The BBC Ts&Cs specifically state that the limit only applies through the app, and they supersede anything the Eurovision site says. This was also the case in previous years.

I didnt see all of tonights, but a few things that stood out to me.

A couple of the acts, Sweden and UK used the closed box structure in such a way that it didn't look like they were actually on stage. I hadn't seen Ollys song until tonight and I wondered if I was watching the video until they walked onto stage.

The other thing that is interesting is that they seem to be featuring the names of the acts more. The postcards end with their name and there was a sequence showing all the acts, all named, at the end. Wonder if this is a conscious shift away to personalities rather than countries?

Lastly there was a lot of reliance on archive and looking back to previous contests this year, as there was in Liverpool too. Seems a bit regressive to me, although it's nice to have a bit of history, maybe there's a bit too much, save it for a big anniversary year

They could upload last nights Jury Show where he didn't have the arm band thing on.

Over in Serbia, RTS interupted the Eurovision Song Contest (and in the middle of Poland's entry performance) on RTS1, for coverage of Chinese President's arrival (as part of a state visit), moving the contest briefly to RTS2: https://twitter.com/ESCdiscord/status/1787968866779283760
