This very forum (Pres Café) is a sibling of the Clean Feed website. As you're a member of Pres Café, I find it surprising that have to ask what Clean Feed is.

The latter posts updates and articles about developments that would be of interest to us TV pres fans (such as when channels get new idents, when news programmes get new sets/titles etc, and so forth).

Yeah sorry I'd just forgotten that's all.

2nd story on Look North Leeds - missing duck at York University.

Edit: Also, lots of picture problems tonight as well.

Nottingham was the first site so will always take longer. And clearly ran into some issues that could have delayed the go live. I suspect Birmingham had committed at this point so also felt the delay.

Watch Look North on Tuesday….. 😁

One team I believe rolling out. Just working overtime!

I fail to see why debuting the new set couldn't/wouldn't happen the day after a Bank Holiday Monday.

If a new set can be debuted on a "normal" Monday (i.e. the day immediately after 2 days without full weekday staffing levels etc), then why can't it be debuted after 3 such days (the BHM being effectively just an "extra Sunday")?

Whenever a new set is debuted on a Monday, everything that needed be done (up-to-and-including all piloting/rehearsals etc) surely must've been satisfactorily completed by the end of the preceding Friday?

Also... given that the new sets have not been debuting until the 6:30pm programme on the launch day (rather than at either 6:25am or 1:30pm), they also have most of the launch day itself to do any last-minute checking/testing etc if necessary. Surely, this could just as easily happen on the Tuesday after a BHM as on a "normal" Monday?

Not sure if HD related or not at Leeds but
Look North is pan regional tonight from Hull

RE: BBC/ITV Yorkshire News - Yorksman - 07-05-2023

A pan regional Look North with Leanne Brown from Hull who welcomed viewers across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

RE: BBC/ITV Yorkshire News - Spencer - 07-05-2023

East Yorks & Lincs Look North going out pan-regionally across Yorkshire this evening. Also I noticed the entire Ten bulletin went out in SD.

Edit: Yorksman beat me to it. Also an apology at the end to Yorkshire viewers, referencing ‘technical issues’.

RE: BBC/ITV Yorkshire News - all new phil - 07-05-2023

Obviously not planned otherwise I’m sure they’ve have tweaked the weather forecast.
